Mark de Bruijn is a Dutch customer experience author, expert and regular keynote speaker. He is the marketing director for EMEA at Smartly.io and has worked for various larger software companies such as EY, SAP and Workiva. In addition, he was affiliated with Avans University as a lecturer. LinkedIn named Mark one of the most engaged marketers and Hottopics included him on the list of 100 best B2B marketing leaders of 2019. His book, Customer Are People Too, was released in February this year. He loves sharing his story around delivering an exceptional customer experience and adds the human element to today’s technology focused world.

Colin Strong is Global Head of Behavioural Science at Ipsos, providing leadership on the application of the discipline to a wide range of client challenges. While the work of the behavioural science team at Ipsos covers both private and public sector, with recent activities in sustainability, disrupted brand choice, organisational change and financial wellbeing.  Colin has an academic background in psychology, with a Masters Degree in Applied Psychology from Cranfield Institute.  He has worked in the market research industry for most of his career, using a psychology lens to develop advice, guidance and new approaches using market research tools.  

Gregor Wolf – After holding numerous positions as managing director in leading international marketing and media companies, Gregor Wolf is responsible for sales, strategic business development and partner management at Smart Digital since 2017. Gregor has built up his expertise and extensive industry contacts most recently as Managing Director Germany of the global cross-channel marketing specialist Experian. Prior to this, he was Managing Director at United Internet Dialog GmbH, the Schober Group and the Global Group. With more than 20 years of marketing experience in leading positions, Gregor contributes to the positive development of Smart Digital.

Alex Joos – After a short period at Unilever, Alex joined the family printing company Group Joos in 1993 as head of the commercial department. Today he leads a very successful enterprise with 160 employees who generate a turnover of 30 million Euros annually. Group Joos offers two business groups and specialises in Unlimited Digital Solutions & Print. The company invests heavily in digital print technology and e-commerce portals to integrate and facilitate the customers’ needs, making them an innovative partner for powerful, effective communication.

Angela Medlar has been at the forefront of programmatic print, in the United States, for over a decade. She has executed successful marketing campaigns with customers such as Chevrolet, Allstate and National Geographic, as well as hundreds of SMBs, that incorporated automation and hyper-personalization. She was integral in enabling programmatic print from platforms such as Hubspot, Salesforce and Marketo. Angela is one of the original team members of Enthusem, which was founded in 2008 out of the sheer necessity to make the printing process more streamlined and more effective.

Richard Askam (Event Moderator) spent 30 years working in the Wine Business before he took a career turn in 2010 to launch the first personalised champagne gifts in the UK as an antidote to the commoditisation of the wine market in the UK. Ultimately, this led him to the doors of Coca-Cola where he created and executed the online ShareaCoke campaign across Europe in 2014. Over the following 2 years, Richard created similarly successful personalised campaigns for the likes of Unilever, Barclays, Vodafone and McVities before becoming a renowned full-time speaker, debuting as a TED Talker in 2017.
